Featured speaker Mark Geragos As the Principal with the internationally known trial lawyer firm of Geragos & Geragos, Mark Geragos has represented some of the most prominent figures in the world. He cemented his national reputation as a successful trial lawyer in the case of Whitewater figure Susan McDougal, securing jury trial acquittals in both State and Federal Court for the former business partner of Bill Clinton.
Geragos’ client list has included actress Winona Ryder, pop star Michael Jackson, hip hop star Nate Dogg, Barry Bonds’ personal trainer Greg Anderson, first brother Roger Clinton, international arms dealer Sarkis Soghanalian, and Scott Peterson. Currently he represents two brothers who were injured after a tiger escaped in San Francisco Zoo.
Perhaps his greatest triumph came as one of the lead lawyers in the landmark Federal Class Action Lawsuits against New York Life Insurance and AXA Corporation that awarded over $ 37.5 million dollars to heirs of Armenian genocide victims.
California Law Business Magazine has named Geragos “one of the 100 Most Influential Attorneys in California” three years in a row, and each year his peers have voted Geragos one of Los Angeles’ Superlawyers. One of only two people to receive the California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Award in both criminal and civil law, Geragos was recognized for work that had “a profound, far-reaching impact . . . , changed law, broke new ground in various practice areas, and substantially influenced public policy.”
Geragos has regularly appeared as both guest and legal commentator on the “Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “Dateline NBC,” “Larry King Live,” “Greta Van Susteren’s On the Record,” “60 minutes” and “48 hours”. | | | | Contact Information | Primary Contact
